what my dream wedding would be

I know I am pretty young to be thinking about weddings but how cant you, it will be the most beautiful day of your life. so here is what I would like my wedding to look like.

I love old cars, and this car reminds me of chitty chitty bang bang one of my all time favourite childhood movies. However I would prefer a horse and carage however I am allergic to horses this making it impossible but I can live with it.

I amn't to fond of gold, so wouldn't really fancy it being on my finger for the rest of my life, this is why I would choose to have either a silver ring or silver gold.

I love this image of a wedding cake and would love mine to be some what like this. however it is also possible these days to get your cake made to match your dress so I believe that is something I would do.

if you haven't guessed already I am obsessed with disney, fairytales and baisically anything that makes your heart metl. this would be my dream wedding however I don't think a certain someone would be up for this. plus I don't see my future having alot of money in it.

some day every girl, teenager and women will dream of the day that they can be a princess just for the day, to walk down an aisle in a beautiful white dress with everyone watching you. When you walk down the aisle at the end is your prince the man who you long to spend the rest of your life with.

when having a little scoop around for other clothing like previous ones I have posted I found this website. I found my self falling in love with clothes that I would never have the confidence to wear, however I can dream about them. This is what makes these clothes fairytale to me, they are that beautiful they can never be worn, they are that different they cannot be seen on the street as many people would stare and I could never handle that. However I do find that posh girl vintage does have a balance as there are some that you are able to get away with.

At this moment I have just been introduced to mori by a college friend and immediatley I loved it. Mori girl fashion also means nature girl. this fashion is full of frills and layers and immediatley made me think of fairytales.

I think this is the most beautiful dress I have ever seen, it's so feminin and it's so unique. This originates from Japan but If i could afford this I would be constantly wearing it, I find it absolutley beautiful.

I chose to post this picture aswell as it reminded me of the picture above however it didn't appeal to me as much.

There are no words to discribe this dress, all I can say is I know what I want for christmas!

I also had a little look at the jewlerry it does remind me of alot of somethings that are on the high street however I still like this alot, the amount of tiny detail that has gone into this small peice of delecate jewlarry is unbelievable. If I were to make a bet that it would last forever I think I would win.

my sketch book theme was dreams and some how it linked to a lifelong dream of mine or more so a wish. If I could choose a skill to have it would be dancing I find it fancinating.

I found bee's fiber art when looking for an image of my old sketchbook on google but instead I came across another I loved the look of it so I thought I would have a snoop around and it lead me to this blog site. However some of bees work caught my eye a bit more than the rest which was her heritage journal. You can see it was very personal, and the sketchbook looked old and fragile.

My Idea development

I got my idea for my job when thinking about fairytale and how in films they open by showing you the novel or book. When I thought about the book I stated to think about the writing has fancy letters with small illustrations surrounding it. I also liked the hard back hence why I looked into old books, however I want my blog to link into old things as most fairytale are set in ancient times, a time where it was ok to wear big dresses and corsets, get married to your first love, and be locked in a tower by an evil witch, where you'd await for your prince to save you.

I Love the way this book is written and illustrated as there is so much detail in the drawings and the writing it looks like it has been hand made, the only one of it's kind you'd have to travel far to acquire one. when you aventually have one you turn every page with care like the slightest noise would rip it.

Old things

   I love the detail that use to go into hard back books with small patterns (celtic like)



I love old things, I like the idea of items that have been loved and used so much they start to wear out. Also because I am starting up a business on creating sketchbooks I felt that antique books are going to be a main influence for me and my designs. However my plan is not to copy these old worn out books I will develop them and make them my own, giving them a new lease of life. I also found these pictures on google in images. I put the picture of the paper in with the books because it is linked to the old hardback books, I just think that the old rugged pages give a book a unique feel making it individual.

I also found this image on google however I wasn't expecting to see an old globe, I love the look of this image it just pops. I love the colour of the old globe I feel it makes it look dated but suits it's era, I think the tints of colour make it more special as it's just hinting of the idea of water and land, reminds me of the map made for Lord of the rings.
